Mr. Deeptha Dias is widely acknowledged as a leading figure in the expanding insurance industry in the Maldives. He brings to Solarelle a wealth of experience and comprehensive knowledge of the intricacies of the insurance business, in particular, a keen understanding of the complexities of re-insurance arrangements and placements. Mr. Dias started his career in one of the leading insurance companies of Sri Lanka, joining the Miscellaneous Insurance Department of Ceylinco Insurance Company in 1993. He soon rose rapidly up the ranks to become the Assistant Manager of the Department in 1998, and was promoted to the post of Manager for Underwriting and Claims in 2001. Recognizing his dynamism and leader-ship strength, Mr. Dias was sent by the company to Male to lead the Ceylinco Insurance Maldives operations as Branch Manager in 2005. He returned to the Sri Lanka Office to serve as Senior Manager in 2007. In 2009, Mr. Dias was appointed to the post of Chief Manager for Ceylinco Insurance in Maldives serving in that position till 2015. During his career in the insurance industry spanning over two decades, Mr. Dias has trained many of his staff through seminars and workshops.
Mr. MUSAID SAEED
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Musaid began his career at a local private insurance company in 2007 and held key positions in the company. He has widespread knowledge of insurance with over 15 years of experience in the field including functional areas of business and management. Mr. Musaid was appointed as the Deputy CEO of Solarelle Insurance in October 2021.
Mr. DIMAL PRASADITH
Chief Finance Officer
Mr. Prasadith, an Accountant by profession, started his career at Ceylinco Insurance Co. Pvt. Ltd. During his 12-year service at Ceylinco, he acquired profound knowledge of both Insurance as well as Reinsurance. He has a wealth of experience in Management and successfully spearheaded various Departments at Ceylinco. He was in charge of Accounts Department in Ceylinco Insurance Company Maldives Branch from 2010 to 2015. He holds an Intermediate certificate from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and also a Member of The Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka.
